Day four of MBFWA may have brought out the newbies, but that doesn't mean they were any less impressive, says Buro 24/7 editor Rebecca Caratti

Thursday's schedule at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia brought out two relative newcomers - the Pip Edwards and Claire Tregoning-helmed activewear label P.E Nation and Khim Hang's ethically minded fashion line HAN.

Even though P.E Nation only launched last year, it has quickly cornered the market in affordable, fashion-forward athleisure and it fast becoming Australia's version of Rihanna's Fenty x Puma line or Beyoncé's Ivy Park. Given Edwards' credentials (stints at General Pants Co., Sass & Bide and Ksubi), you can see just how appealing P.E Nation will be to the cool-kid youth market. In contrast, HAN's tackles an equally relevant corner of the market by manufacturing all his clothes in Cambodia - and paying three times the minimum wage to his workers - you can read about his ethical promise here.
