Designer Dion Lee simply knows what Aussie girls want to wear. From his sharply cut silhouettes to the flashes of skin that err on the side of directional, rather than overtly sexy - his Resort 2016 collection is a balance between the architectural and the wearable.
In a palette that runs from graphic printed white, navy pinstripe and black to washed-out pastels and canary yellow - the new range has a nonchalance that's perfectly on point for a resort collection. While we did spot a few body-skimming dresses and a full-piece swimsuit that screamed holiday, rest assured the Australian designer hasn't gone full throttle five-star resort.

Among the slouchy separates were structured dresses and skirts with laser-cut 3D detailing and fluid drapes, plus dresses and tops featuring Lee's signature cut-out sleeves. While his slinky satin dresses will appeal to those looking for a knockout look, the real standout is the precision-cut detailing in his sculptured skirts and dresses.
