Autumn/winter '15 was a season of razzle dazzle

This season, high-shine metallics and luxe embellishment sparkled over the runways. From sexy '70s discos dresses at Rodarte, to a modern and pared down use of sequins at Louis Vuitton - we take a look at some of the freshest takes on this shimmering trend.

Proenza Schouler

The sexy slashed-at-the-waist dresses at Proenza Schouler featured heavy embellishment. The designer duo's use of contrasting fabrications and interesting cutouts felt modern and new.

Balenciaga's ladylike dresses with voluminous skirts had just the right amount of embellishment to keep them fresh and youthful.

Zac Posen

Zac Posen always manages to nail old-Hollywood glamour. His knockout silver-sequined dress is sure to make an appearance on a red carpet somewhere soon.

Rodarte's homage to Studio 54 came in the form of this disco-ready sequinned party dress.

Skintight mini dresses splashed with primary coloured sequins sparkled down the Versace catwalk thanks to modern-day supers Karlie Kloss and Natasha Poly.
