It's been weeks since Raf Simons announced his departure from Dior, and the fashion world expected his replacement to be chosen within days - as was the case when Alessandro Michele took the reins at Gucci. But it looks like we'll all be waiting much, much longer than we thought, with the news that Dior's Spring '16 Couture and Fall 2016 collections will be designed by their in-house team - no creative director necessary.

It mirrors the house's actions when John Galliano was expelled in 2011 - then Dior produced six collections before eventually entrusting Simons with the coveted role. We like that they're not rushing into things - but we're not sure how much longer we can handle the suspense.
