In one of the more out-of-nowhere announcements of the year, streetwear brand G-Star RAW recently scored a new co-owner - none other than producer/singer Pharrell Williams. While it's not the musician's first foray into fashion collabs (you'll recall he teamed up with Adidas last year), it's his first as co-owner. He already owns a sustainable fabric company, Bionic Yarn. The ethically minded Grammy-winner broke the news via Instagram last month, and while we're yet to see the fruits of his labour, with the brand we expecting the singer to put his sustainability stamp on the brand.

What do Pharrell Williams and G-Star have in common?

For now, we can amuse ourselves with the new TVC to celebrate the S/S '16 campaign, shot by Ellen von Unwerth. Celebrating the 20th anniversary of the G-Star Elwood 5620 jeans, this little video featuring N.E.R.D's 2008 track 'Kill Joy' is a pretty novel way to pass the time. Check it out below.
