That's right - talents and food. The glossy fashion magazine has partnered with San Pellegrino to launch a competition that combines the world's best emerging chefs and fashion designers to see what happens next.

So what does happen when you combine fashion with food? Forget Lady Gaga's notorious raw meat dress - thankfully, Esber opted for a slightly more subtle approach. The designer worked with sous chef Peter Gunn of multi-award-winning Melbourne restaurant Attica to develop the Raffia Halter top and skirt - minimalist designs inspired by Gunn's style of cooking. We're not quite sure how, but we'll take his word for it.

The pieces form part of Esber's spring/summer '15 collection, which will be shown during Mercedes Benz Fashion Week next Wednesday. Post Fashion Week, Esber will fly to Milan to represent Australia-Pacific in the next stage of the Talents & Food comp, to be judged by Vogue Italia as part of Expo Milano 2015. Fingers crossed.
