Vogue editor Anna Wintour forced to apologise for Trump comments
Buro daily
Anna Wintour has been forced to apologise for making critical comments of US president-elect, Donald Trump, on a packed commuter train this week.
The editor was reportedly overheard discussing Trump's foundation and the surrounding allegations of lies around it's charitable work saying, "Trump's foundation has done nothing. Its board is packed with relatives and he's going to use his presidency to sell himself and his brand and profit personally for himself and his family."
When the Mirror reached out for a comment, Wintour (a prolific Hilary Clinton supporter) said, "I immediately regretted my comments, and I apologise. I hope that President-elect Trump will be a successful president for us all."
Side note: Does anyone else feel like the real news here is that Anna Wintour takes trains?!
