Introducing Baythe Swim: an eco-conscious swimwear brand with your active lifestyle in mind

If there's one thing Bondi does with exception, its blend an activewear-at-brunch mentality with a relaxed swimsuit-under-your-sundress vibe. Certainly the residents of Bondi's famous beach are happy to flit between the two states of being, much to the rest of Australia's amusement. That said, here at Buro 24/7 we're suckers for anything multi-purpose and are quietly thrilled that Australia's latest swimwear brand Baythe Swim seeks to straddle the swimwear/activewear divide.

The label was borne out of one of Bondi's own backyards by local Tina Ishak and features a line up of minimalist, sporty designs. From sleek one pieces to triangle bikinis and crop tops, Baythe Swim has been conceved as swimming separates that do double duty as exercise gear for low-impact activities such as yoga, Pilates and doing the Bondi to Bronte walk. And - added bonus - the swimsuits are made from sustainable, high-quality material sourced from Italy called ECONYL. The four-way stretch fabric is manufactured from 100% regenerated material which has been sourced from recycled matter such as recovered fishing nets - so you can feel secure and eco-conscious wearing them.

"I wanted to create affordable active swimwear with beautiful clean lines that really flatter a women's body," explains Baythe founder Tina Ishak. "At every step of this journey I looked at ways to reduce Baythe's carbon footprint and give everyone the opportunity to choose an environmentally friendly product without compromising on quality."

Available in chic, summery hues of black, olive, navy, mango, citrus orange and pitaya, Baythe Swim is priced from $99 a set. Shop the collection now at
