Personalised Prada? Yes please

What we wear on our feet says so much about who we are or who we want to be - there's even a book about it, aptly titled The Perfect Fit. So what would a pair of bespoke Prada shoes say about the wearer? Thanks to Prada's new, limited time only service, it's completely up to you.

Fusing the latest trend in personalisation with a long-standing tradition of fancy footwear, Prada is bringing their Made to Order Décolleté heel service to Australia. Cue the sound of collective gasps of joy around the country. A host of options will be available, including eight styles, six heel heights, three sole colour choices (black, lily of the valley or light blue), and a panoply of fabrics like suede, satin, kid, Saffiano print, patent leather, ostrich, and snakeskin. The colour options are endless and Prada's iconic Octagon, Lily and Tulip prints are available in the patent leather or duchesse satin. It's the ultimate luxury shoe pick 'n' mix.

As with all extraordinary items, the devil is in the detail - your custom shoes come stylishly stamped with your initials on the sole.  Prices start from $960 but you better be quick - the service is only available until September 6 in Australia before heading to New Zealand. Here's where to get your fix:

Prada Collins Street, August 28
Prada Chadstone, August 29-31

Prada Westfield Sydney, September 3-6
