Now that we've seen the designs up close, we can report that they're worth the wait: swathes of hand-woven silk, flashes of burnished burnt orange and Willow's signature corsetry stitching - a nod to her debut lingerie collection 10 years ago.
The acclaimed Willow aesthetic flows through the collection, but with a new focus: KITX is all about sustainable and ethically produced clothing and footwear, without compromising on luxury or quality.
"KITX is born from a spirit of Kindness, Integrity, Transparency and X representing the future," says Willow. "Staying true to these key words and harnessing and inspiring the passion and talent of our team, we are focused on creating unique designs our customers love to wear, while caring about the impact every decision has on the planet and the people around us."
The designer has partnered with like-minded sustainable organisations Nest and the Global Organic Textile Standard for her label, which is made by artisans in India. The collection will be available from July at kitx.com.au.
