The signs were there at the 2016 Victoria's Secret fashion show. We heard whispers from a certain VS-hair stylist that the cameras were all pointed directly at Gigi and Bella (not Kendall!) but we didn't realise the Hadid sisters were fashion's current Big Thing until we saw the latest Moschino and new Fendi campaigns. Sister act: why fashion is having a love affair with the Hadids

In the case of Fendi's S/S '17 campaign, Karl Lagerfeld has imagined the California-bred siblings holed up in an opulent French apartment. "I have chosen the models of the moment, shot in different rooms," explains Lagerfeld. "For the set I took inspiration from the mood of the clothes and at the same time the places people had left, the rooms filled in the past by their voices, while the future is represented by the presence of the girls." Draped in coquettish shades of pale pink, lavender and white, which is offset by sporty stripes, the S/S '17 collection comes to life against the shabby-chic walls of this Paris appartement.

While we're lacking a frame with the two Hadids side by side, if you're looking for that, check out their Moschino S/S '17 video. It's a fitting tribute to last year's prankster paparazzi incident and a testament to the power and popularity of fashion's latest darlings. Boy, does it pay to be a Hadid these days...
