Beyond fashion

Inspired by the Dries Van Noten spring/summer '15 show, director Albert Moya has crafted a film with fashion at its heart

Titled High Tide, it's an otherworldly affair with a lofty subject matter - life and death, no less. Shot in New York's Federal Hall and Long Beach, it features models dressed in Dries Van Noten spring/summer '15, including the fashion house's favourite Hanne Gaby.

"A metaphor of resurrection and of the return to the light, this film is also a tribute to the spirit of fashion; a reawakening of the new after the twilight of the days gone by," Moya told i-D. Moya collaborated with Edu Grau, the director of photography behind Tom Ford's A Single Man, for the project.
