It's no secret the notion of travel is deeply woven into fabric of Louis Vuitton's DNA. From the iconic travelling trunks through to Nicolas Ghesquiere's luxe and nomadic-leaning ready-to-wear collections, the house journey since its 1854 inception has been an ever-changing, thrilling ride. Of course, this epic 160-year history is also filled with technological wizardry, innovation and a little bit of intrigue, the maison seeks to celebrate its achievements in a brand-new exhibition at Chadstone - The Fashion Capital.

Titled Time Capsule, the travelling exhibition highlights key moments in LV's rich history and is split up into six different components. There's the Artisan room featuring real-life craftsmen, The key to the codes which traces the design features made famous by LV's travelling trunks, Journeys around the world explores transport developments that have shaped the brand, plus Elegance in motion, Icons of the house and Magic malle. For fans of travel, LV and history, Time Capsule's visually compelling story is a must see. And in a fortunate turn of events, Melbourne will be the first city in the Oceania region to host the Time Capsule - winner.

Time Capsule at Chadstone opens February 24 until March 21, 2018. The exhibit will be open daily and located in the Ground Floor. Admission is free.
