Glen Luchford returns to shoot the Italian house's cinematic SS17 collection alongside big cats

As though the overwhelming, eye-melting detail (and we mean that in the best way possible) of his collections aren't enough visual stimuli, Alessandro Michele has now added live jungle cats to his spectacular campaigns. Alongside botanically-printed bags, bauble necklaces and bespectacled models, the collection is road-tested by live tigers and lounging lions, sometimes nawing casually on a monogramed bag.

A line-up of models including Daisy Cvitkovic, Dwight Hoogendjik and Lorens Miklasevics (you can recognise him through his face tattoos) splish-splash FRIENDS-style through the Trevi fountain, 'pet' the jungle cats in a hotel and dine al fresco with giraffes to whom they feed grapes - all the while, spectacularly decked out in head-to-toe Gucci, as you do.

Note: No models were harmed in the making of this film.

Lions and tigers and Gucci – oh my!
