He famously said he'd marry his cat if he could, and now King Karl has committed to his first ever wedding rings range. "I had never done a ring for that occasion," the enigmatic designer told Vogue. "It was kind of a challenge."
Lagerfeld has partnered with jeweller Frederick Goldman for the collection, which currently includes three designs in 18-carat white gold, yellow gold and platinum. Said to be designed with millennials in mind, the designs are inspired by Parisian architecture, geometry and Karl Lagerfeld design signatures.
"The rings had to express something that concerns the heart and real feelings," Lagerfeld says. "It has to be a symbol and a sign of a real wish of engagement. It has to be elegant but not bling-bling." The rings, which start from US$1000-$10,000 will be available in Australia, plus the US, Canada and UK. See the full collection here.
