Balmain's social media-savvy creative director has tapped an unlikely member of the Kardashian Klan for the label's A/W '16 campaign - Kanye West. Shot by Steven Klein and directed by Pascal Danqin, the surprisingly pared-back black and white shots depict the rapper with model and Balmain Army veteran Joan Smalls in a graceful, balletic pose (yes, we just referred to Kanye as graceful).

Rousteing revealed just the one image on his Instagram account overnight, with the caption 'MUSIC MEETS FASHION.' He's shot Kanye before, for Balmain's Kardashian-heavy Spring '15 campaign, which also featured Kim, but never before has he given Kanye the full focus like this. We bet Kanye is loving it.
