Take a look inside 'The House of Dior: Seventy Years of Haute Couture' on display at the National Gallery of Victoria

Hello lover! To celebrate seventy years of haute couture, the National Gallery of Victoria have partnered with French fashion house Dior, in an exclusive exhibition: The House of Dior: Seventy Years of Haute Couture. The never-before seen exhibition displays 140 spectacular Dior garments designed between 1947 and 2017, from the iconic Spring 1947 'New Look' collection designed by Christian Dior, to Miranda Kerr's custom made Christian Dior couture wedding dress by current creative director Maria Grazia-Chiuri.

Part of the exhibition also displays a breathtaking array of shoes and accessories, highlighting the work of Stephen Jones, who has created elaborate bespoke headpieces for John Galliano, Raf Simons and Maria Grazia Chiuri.

The entire exhibition is one of the National Gallery of Victoria's most ambitious designs to date, featuring a grand sweeping staircase inspired by the iconic staircase from the Paris couture house, allowing visitors to see a birds-eye video of the display.
