Usually the main Disneyland parade is filled with Mickey, Minnie, Cinderella, Elsa, Goofy and the swag of beloved Disney characters dressed in full costume, but if you're planning a visit to the happiest place on Earth on March 7 you'll be seeing a very different parade: catwalk models dressed in Opening Ceremony's Spring 2018 collection.

The US fashion label founded by Carol Lim and Humberto Leon back in 2002 is known for cutting edge collaborations with other brands and an inspired, creative approach to the fashion industry. The duo have collaborated with a host of different labels and high profile celebrities ranging from A-list label Rodarte, high street brand Topshop, Esprit, Reebok, filmmaker Spike Jonze and actress Chloë Sevigny.

So staging a fashion show at Disneyland seems like an on-brand step for this creative label. The label announced the Disneyland location via a post on social media:

@openingceremony

Fashionista reports the fashion show, "...will be the first staged at the iconic park in 40 years." No details yet on whether any of the Disney characters will be involved in the fashion show or whether the designers will include any Disney attractions (the teacup ride?) in the show, we'll have to wait until March 7 to find out.
