Dropping just in time for the trail end of spring, H&M has announced its latest designer collaboration will be London-based designer Erdem. The announcement came this morning, along with a short film teaser directed by Baz Luhrmann, who is working with the designer on  longer film to reveal the Erdem x H&M vision.

The range which will drop into select stores on November 2, is a brand new collection for women and, for the first time, men, and will not only reflect the beautiful play on prints, textiles and craftsmanship Erdem is known for, but will also explore historical references and designer Erdem Moralioglu's "personal narrative". In a nutshell: We can expect much more than what we're used to seeing when it comes to high-street collabs.

"I am so happy to collaborate with H&M, and to explore my work on a whole new scale including a menswear collection which I have never done before," the designer said of working with the Swedish mega store. "It's also such a thrill to work with Baz Luhrmann, one of the most important storytellers of our time."

Of the creative partnership, Lurhmann said, "For me fashion is always about more than just clothing, it is a form of expression - a stand-alone art form. I am excited to be collaborating with ERDEM and H&M to reveal the story of this unique collection."

ERDEM x H&M arrives in select stores November 2, 2017.
