For a girl who's supposedly taking time off from work, Selena Gomez sure knows how to earn on the sly. Even though the pop star has been on hiatus from her Revival world tour since the end of August, she's still found time to earn some extra dollars thanks to a new partnership with Coach. According to Fox news, the deal is worth an estimated $10 million (hello!) and is said to include a line designed by Selena and a starring role in the brand's future ad campaigns. We'd say it's an equally beneficial relationship for both parties, really.   

Ever since it appointed Stuart Vevers to the role of creative director in 2013, Coach has launched a concerted overhaul of its global image. The US-based accessories line is known for its leatherwares, but in recent years the fashion collection has also received a lot of love from celebs and the industry alike, thanks to its youthful Americana aesthetic. Coupled with Selena's Texan upbringing and all-American girl-next-door looks, we can see why the two are such a natural fit.

Certainly, in the eyes of luxury fashion houses like Louis Vuitton, which featured Selena in its Series 5 campaign this year (above), Selena also has the It-factor to move major handbag sales. And considering she's still the most popular girl in the world (at least in Instagram's eyes), the Coach deal is no doubt worth every penny. We can't wait to see her debut designs for the luxury label...
