Gucci x Unskilled Worker collection is the collaboration your wardrobe didn’t know it needed

Oh my Gucci! They've done it again. With each season/collaboration/surprise capsule collection we're shown the creative genius that is Alessandro Michele, and the latest atristic collab is no exception. The fashion house has teamed up with emerging British artist, Helen Downie (known under the moniker Unskilled Worker) for a 40-piece capsule collection and it truly is a treat for the eyes.

The collection of ready-to-wear, shoes, bags, silks and accessories features exclusive artwork by Unskilled Worker including a combination of portrait and floral designs. From printed GG Marmont shoulder bags to patched knitted tops, the witty and playful nature of the designs perfectly embodies the eclectic Romanticism of the House.

It seems Michele has a bit of a thing for emerging artists. Earlier this year, Gucci launched capsule collections with Spanish artist Coco Captáin and British illustrator Angela Hicks.

And now for the best part... *drumroll please*... for the first time ever, this collection will be available simultaneously WORLDWIDE.  Yes Aussies, that means the same time as everyone in Europe and the United States. Gucci really can make dreams come true.

The Gucci x Unskilled worker collection will be available from October 11 at Gucci.com. Click through the gallery above to see the quirky collection.
