Following in the footsteps of labels such as Céline and Loewe, the brand famous for its unique aristocratic sophistication, dark romanticism, modernity and celebrity following has opened its doors inside what is fast becoming Australia's luxury shopping destination.
Located in Chadstone's shopping precinct, the store opens with both men's and women's collections across ready-to-wear, accessories and footwear from the Spring 2017 collection which was inspired by the 90s underground music scene, channeling the luxe, yet edgy mood into oversized parkas, workwear jackets and new silhouettes.
Constructed with sleek, dark zebrano wood, lacquered floors and tiling that eches the Paris Metro stations. Creative Director Riccardo Tisci describes the journey through the store as, "a new and intriguing experience because visitors will see a space rather than an array of goods. These spaces are important, they are like the pauses in a piece of music. Space is part of the luxury of our stores....You enter as yourself, on your own and leave as a member of the Givenchy 'tribe' characterised by an attitude, your clothes and an openness to sharing ideas."
