Gigi Hadid has just been announced as the new global ambassador and face of Tommy Hilfiger, PLUS she's collaborated with the American brand on a capsule collection. Launching for Fall 2016, the capsule includes women's sportswear, footwear, accessories (including watches and sunglasses) and a new fragrance.
It's been a huge year for Hadid, who already fronts campaigns for Balmain, Topshop, Guess, Seafolly and Max Mara. "I think our collection celebrates the iconic Tommy lifestyle and mixes a bit of everything: there are styles that are really hippie-chic, styles that are sporty streetwear, and styles that are tomboy but girly; everyone's is going to love a different part of it," she says in a statement from the brand.

The collection hasn't even been shot yet (hence no pictures - watch this space), but will fuse Hadid's effortless aesthetic with Hilfiger's classic American cool. Hadid joins an impressive line-up of previous Tommy faces and collaborators, from Charlotte Gainsbourg and Beyoncé to Naomi Campbell, Alexa Chung, Behati Prinsloo and most recently, Suki and Immy Waterhouse.
