Iconic fashion designer and creator of the most famous LBD of all time, Hubert de Givenchy passed away on Saturday aged 91

The legendary French haute-couture designer defined ladylike chic like no other designer before or since and created many of the most iconic looks of all time - including the little black dress to end all LBDs: the dress worn by Audrey Hepburn in the opening credits of Breakfast at Tiffany's.

Givenchy worked with Hepburn on many of her movies, creating beautiful, scene-stealing outfits for the Hollywood A-lister which complemented her extraordinary beauty. But Givenchy wasn't just Hepburn's designer he worked with all of the most stylish women in history including Jacqueline Kennedy and the Duchess of Windsor.
