That's the question that's being asked in a set of four new campaign trailers celebrating Chanel's newest It-accessory: the Gabrielle Chanel bag. Conceived by Karl Lagerfeld, the four-part campaign was teased on Instagram earlier this month. Featuring faces synonymous with the French luxury house - Kristen Stewart, Cara Delevingne, Caroline de Maigret and Pharrell Williams - the short films explore the legacy of the house's enigmatic founder.

Shot by director Antoine Carlier, Pharrell's trailer sees the Grammy-award winning singer, songwriter and producer exploring a brightly lit concert hall, decked out in head-to-toe Chanel. While the full film isn't available until next month, you can watch an excerpt below and keep on the lookout for the other trailers. In them, Aussie filmmaker Daniel Askil asks Kristen to invoke the spirit of Coco Chanel, Japanese director Shishi Yamazaki brings Cara D to animated life, and Personal Shopper visionary Olivier Assayas shoots Parisienne Caroline de Maigret inside a Haussmannian apartment.

The full films will be available for viewing from April 3.
