The French fashion house debuts their first campaign under new Artistic Director, Maria Grazia Chiuri
Christian Dior have today released the Ready-to-Wear campaign for Spring Summer 2017 featuring the first collection under Maria Grazia Chiuri who joined the house from her prior post at Valentino.
In a minimalist yet, romantic series of imagery lensed by Brigitte Lacombe and starring twin models Ruth and May Bell, the campaign forms parter of a larger photographic project entitled, The Women Behind the Lens, in which female photographers were invited to deliver their personal interpretation of the collection.
The collection itself is a study of contemporary femininity in a mix of heavy handwork, airy fabrications and athletic influences - this season, fencing - as envisioned by Chiuri.
