Two things are really having their moment in 2017; high-low fashion and sneakers. Street style has ditched the stilettos and stepped into the comfort of an everyday trainer, and our feet could not be happier about the move. It should come as no surprise then that sneaker powerhouse, Vans has teamed up with fashion dictator Karl Lagerfeld to release a capsule collection of footwear and apparel.

According to WWD, the collection will feature remakes of six Vans sneaker styles including Sk8-Hi laceless platform and Old Skool laceless, as well as an exclusive t-shirt, a bomber jacket and a premium leather backpack.

Replacing Vans' black and white checkerboard pattern in the designs will be a motif of Lagerfeld's iconic profile. The Lagerfeld pieces will also be accented with a quilted leather K.

The footwear and apparel capsule is set to launch worldwide September 8.

Could this be the chicest sneaker collab your feet have ever seen?
