They'll both be appearing alongside a panel of esteemed fashion industry insiders as part of Business of Fashion's VOICES event. The digital fashion news platform - which is growing in influence as we speak - has partnered with QIC Global Real Estate to this this one-off satellite event at the Sydney Opera House on March 30.

Titled 'Close Encounters', BoF's Imran Amed will host a panelled discussion about the future of retail, while Tim Blanks (BoF's Editor-at-large) will moderate another discussion on branding and breaking into the digital market. "We are delighted to bring our signature VOICES event to Australia," said Amed in a statement. "By bringing global fashion industry leaders together at this event, we want to ignite a conversation about some of the most pressing issues facing our industry at a time of unprecedented change and disruption."

With speakers such as Justin O'Shea (the newly appointed creative director of menswear label Brioni), designers Karen Walker and Simone and Nicky Zimmermann, Aesop CEO Michael O'Keeffe, L'Eclaireur boutique founder Arman Hadida and Pedder Group's director of Special Projects Kim Kollar - it's slated to be a fascinating discussion encompassing a broad reach. There will be an after party hosted at Bennelong following the event.

BoF's VOICES is an invite-only media event that will see industry insiders discuss real-world issues. For more details about the flagship VOICES event held in London from December 1-3, head to businessoffashion.com/events/voices.
