Burberry takes to Snapchat to publish its spring/summer '16 campaign - the first of its kind

British heritage brand Burberry do more than just a roaring trade in trench coats - in recent years they've become digital pioneers - leading the charge as ultra luxe, yet savvy users of technology. The first luxury brand to introduce a live stream of their runway show way back in 2010, they've since launched a Snapchat Show and even a dedicated channel on Apple Music. And not content to leave it at that, they've just announced the first-ever campaign reveal via Snapchat.

Available on the Burberry Snapchat account for just 24 hours today, Burberry fans will get a glimpse of the Mario Testino-shot campaign for spring/summer '16, as well as its newest stars. Chosen by creative director Christopher Bailey, who has historically had a knack for pegging the best of British talent just before they reach mega-fame (eg. Eddie Redmayne, Rosie Huntington Whiteley and Cara Delevingne), we can reveal the campaign faces are: Hayett Belarbi McCarthy, Misha Hart, Ruth Bell, May Bell, Eliza Fairbanks, Liam Gardner and Louie Johnson.

While the names might be unknown to you, you may recall Ruth Bell as one of the ugly/pretty models who made a splash at the spring/summer shows just gone. Sporting an unmistakeable shaved head offset by an angelic face and alabaster skin, Bell walked for Saint Laurent, Gucci and MaxMara, and appears alongside twin sister May in the campaign.
