It was only a matter of time - he's snuck Spongebob Squarepants, Barbie, McDonalds and even Mastercard onto the runway, so of course irreverent designer Jeremy Scott's next move involves Super Mario Bros. The supercharged collection celebrates the 30th anniversary of the game we all grew up with (unless your parents banned Nintendo use), with Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, coins, stars and mushrooms emblazoned on everything from backpacks to bucket bags, T-shirts to jumpers.
Fresh off the VS runway, Bridget Malcolm manages to make the collection completely covetable - and even a little bit sexy. We never thought that adjective would be applied to Nintendo, but if there's anyone who can make us see things differently, it's Scott. The collection is available now at moschino.com.
