The US Vogue editor-in chief is pretty much President of the fashion industry, so her newest role should come quite naturally: it has been revealed that Anna Wintour has been enlisted to help Hillary Clinton with her sartorial choices.

Business of Fashion reports that Clinton consults Wintour, who publicly supports and fundraises for the Democrats, before key campaign events and speeches. It's a responsibility Wintour is not taking lightly: apparently, she's been contacting designers directly to source the presidential candidate's outfits, which Clinton's campaign is said to pay for, rather than borrow or accept as gifts.

We just hope it wasn't Wintour who was behind the $12,000 Armani jacket Clinton wore to deliver a speech on income inequality last month...
