Fashion-forward BrIT girl Alexa Chung has debuted her second collection for her eponymous label and it's all about the '80s prom queen

Alexa Chung personifies the quirky cool look Brit fashion is known for and with the launch of her label earlier this year, finally her covetable style became readily available for the millions of fans around the globe who dissect and copy every piece of clothing that makes up her distinctive style.

The first collection featured '60s and '70s vintage style references via tea dresses, denim and knitwear and for her second collection, Chung has a hit fast forward to the '80s - revealing a Dynasty-meets-Sixteen Candles showcase with pieces including a metallic prom-style strapless cocktail dress, a tulle maxi skirt, a checkered two-piece suit and a ripped oversized sweater over fishnet tights.

Chung debuted her see-now-buy-now 'Prom Goes Wrong' collection in Paris as part of Paris Fashion Week and according to WWD, Chung set the stage with all the classic '80s props like, "Fog machines, a live band playing cheesy Eighties hits against a gold metallic fringe curtain marked with "Class of 2017" with one wonky S hanging down... and pastel party balloons stuck to the ceiling."
