You know you've really hit the zeitgeist when Adidas Originals asks you to collaborate on a line. It's an especially great honour when your label is barely six years old - which was exactly the case for Mary Katrantzou when she was asked to do a collection for Adidas Originals last year.
Known for its innovative use of colour and digi prints, the London-based label is set to lend its distinctive design aesthetic to the über cool sportswear brand for the second year running. Scheduled to drop worldwide in July, the new spring/summer collection is an homage to '80s sportswear and features wild patterns and lots of sophisticated tennis-skirt pleats.

Even though Katrantzou officially earned her Adidas stripes last year, her new designs for the brand thankfully still carry her signature design stamp. This year's collection sees the addition of pool slides and swimwear, plus more leisurewear piece that can cleverly work in and outside of the gym. While July can't come soon enough, you can get a glimpse of the footwear collection here, too.
