As far as collabs go teaming skincare with fashion seems like a match made in heaven and when you add Pip Edwards' creative genius and a game-changing self-tanner into the mix it's epic to say the least. "Living a healthy, active life is part of the P.E. Nation DNA, and when you look good, you feel good. That goes from your activewear to what you put on your skin. Ella Baché is a heritage skin and sun care brand and when the opportunity to work with them was presented to us, it made sense for us as an outdoor, active brand, to jump right in," says P.E Nation's Pip Edwards.
The collab is a first for super skincare brand, Ella Baché and anchors around the launch of their new self-tanning lotion, Great Bronze and the Our Sport collection from Pip and co-founder, Claire Tregoning's, killer Aussie activewear label, P.E Nation.
The Our Sport collection features P.E's signature strong colour block sports aesthetic but extends into the swim category, which was a no brainer says Pip, "Swim is a natural part of an active lifestyle so it made perfect sense to add it to our offering. The Australian beach culture and aesthetic is inherent to the P.E vibe and our pieces are sporty and sexy. They can be worn for activities like swimming, surfing, stand-up paddle boarding or they can be worn for a day by the pool. We design multi-purpose pieces for every part of an active woman's day so our products always have a true level of functionality about them - whilst still being super stylish with elements of street."
The campaign capturing the collab is all good time outdoor summer vibes and is fronted by American bombshell Joy Corrigan, the bronzed poster girl for athleticism (she just missed out on the 2016 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue). Joy comprehensively nails the sun-kissed active lifestyle brief showcasing perfect skin and wardrobe thanks to Ella Baché's Great Bronze self-tanner, which provides a natural golden streak-free tan sans sun, and P.E. Nation's new must-have collection.
