As longtime fans of Swedish luxury label Acne Studios and their excellent denim and on-point footwear, we've always found it relatively easy to locate the brand in local boutiques. That said, when it came to their ready-to-wear and extensive accessories range, one would usually have to take a trip to Paddington's Glenmore Road or head online to get your fix. But as of last week, Acne Studios can now boast of an entirely more central location after setting up a store in the CBD.

Located on the corner of King and Elizabeth Streets in the city, the 390 metre square space will now stock the full men's and women's Acne Studios collections. Nice. And in a nod to global Acne store trends, the L-shaped store has been designed with stainless steel walls, a pale yellow roof and 700 twinkling light fixtures that look like lit-up mushrooms. With a white terrazzo floor finishing off he urbane and industrial vibe, Acne Studios chairman Mikael Schillersays the new store is an update on where the brands sits in 2017.

"We opened our first store in Sydney in 2009 and since then the Australian market has been very close to our hearts," says Schiller in a press release. "Now it feels great to open a large second store in the central of Sydney, the space being a good representation of the present day Acne Studios universe."

N doubt the Acne products nestled in these stainless steel walls will start flying off the shelves in their new home. We can't wait to go shopping in the city again.
