After sweeping up fashion industry accolades last year, from the prestigious Tiffany & Co. National Design Award to winning both the menswear and womenswear International Woolmark Prize Australia Regional Finals and GQ Designer of the Year, Strateas.Carlucci have scored their biggest coup yet. The Australian label - a collaborative effort between Mario-Luca Carlucci and Peter Strateas - have been invited to show on schedule for Men's Fashion at Paris Fashion Week, the first Australian label to do so in the event's history.
The design duo will present their spring/summer '16 collection Myopia at Paris Fashion Week's opening day on June 24, ahead of Valentino, Heider Ackermann and Raf Simons. They'll be making their international runway debut at La Biosthetique's Marcel Contier headquarters in the 17th arrondissement.
With Myopia, Strateas.Carlucci have continued to explore the structural potential of woven merino wool and high-tech fabrics, with statement cuts and classic tailoring with an urban edge. Visit strateascarlucci.com.
