From the Drake soundtrack to the dreamy island fabrications, Buro 24/7's contributing fashion editor Brad Homes gives us an inside glimpse at Louis Vuitton's epic show

Hot weather, hot guys and even hotter clothing. Great, now that I've got your attention let's take a moment to discuss Louis Vuitton's S/S '18 runway show. Arguably the hottest ticket in town, today's show did not disappoint. Even though it's blatantly obvious to see why the likes of Naomi Campbell, Tyga and Lily Allen turned up to pay their respects to design genius Kim Jones, it was interesting to see his reach extend to American pro athletes like Victor Cruz and Russell Westbrook, too.

For S/S '18, Jones referenced a specific type of wanderlust: island hopping via boldly patterned Hawaiian shirts, bucket hats and adventurewear, adding an element of sportswear through the treatment of the Louis Vuitton logo on sweaters, T-shirts and scuba zips. Whilst some may call me biased (I'm fine with that), there wasn't one thing in the collection I'm not lusting after. Ok, maybe I'd give the clogs a miss... But thanks to the new Drake track 'Signs' that doubled as the runway soundtrack, no one has any excuse not to see this show.

As for my favourite look, let's just say I'd happily choose the whole thing and I'll let you pick your own in the video below. Stay tuned for more updates on day three tomorrow.
