Day one of PFW did not disappoint. Whilst the press and buyers struggled with temperatures upwards of 36 degrees, you couldn't help but feel sorry for the models wearing layer upon layers in many of the S/S '18 shows.

Budgie smugglers and slides were the look du jour at Lucien Pellat Finet's opening show and Balenciaga took their styling cues from off-duty dads as their inspiration. With plenty of surprises on day one, we can't wait to see what day two brings. Stay tuned.
