Prada scores a major menswear coup with new face Eddie Redmayne
It's virtually impossible not to fall under the spell of the talented and charming Oscar-winning actor Eddie Redmayne. So we totally understand why Miuccia Prada would be so thrilled to nab the British actor as the new face of Prada's menswear A/W '16 campaign. Posing in a series of outfits designed to articulate various characters - villain, hero, revolutionary - the Craig McDean-shot campaign features Redmayne in his most versatile glory. "Redmayne is no stranger to immersing himself in historically significant characters," reads the Prada press release, explaining how he inhabits a number of different roles within the campaign.
The series was first teased on the Italian brand's Instagram channel (@prada), but then revealed in full in the early hours of this morning. It's not the first time Eddie has lent his boyish good looks to a luxury fashion label - you'll probably recall his work with Burberry (and Cara Delevingne) way back in 2008, when he was just another up-and-coming English actor dreaming of making it big... how quickly times have changed!
