Although you might not immediately associate A$AP Rocky with the fabled French fashion house, their connections run deep, with A$AP Rocky a front row fixture at Dior shows and even dropping the brand name into his songs.
"He's a real fashion lover," Dior Homme creative director Kris Van Assche says of the appointment. "He feels like fashion really influences his own work, and he has strong opinions on that." The news comes in the same week that the star's collaboration with another fashion house, J.W. Anderson, was unveiled in London.
"It's about taking two worlds like streetwear and high-end and kind of mashing them together," A$AP Rocky told WWD. "But when it comes to Dior, it's just prestige and elegance in my opinion. It's almost like Coco Chanel was for the lady."
The new campaign also features filmmaker Larry Clark, French actor Rod Paradot and model Dylan Roques and was shot by Willy Vanderperre.
