Dutch model Imaan Hammam talks ballet, Bali and her new project
She's one of hard-to-please Anna Wintour's favourite faces, but former Victoria's Secret model Imaan Hammam has a lot more than that going for her, writes Anna McClelland
She burst onto fashion's radar in 2013 when she opened for Givenchy, and since then Hammam has had the ride of her life - a coveted American Vogue September issue cover, campaigns for Calvin Klein Jeans, Tiffany & Co., Givenchy and Topshop and walking for the highest of high fashion houses - Dior, Prada and Balenciaga - included.
Now, the Dutch glamazon - whose striking looks can be attributed to her Egyptian/Moroccan heritage - has been named the new face of NEXT's Summer '16 campaign. NEXT has a knack for tapping rising talent - you can expect big things from this model and her famous head of hair.
Although she grew up in Amsterdam, Hammam moved to New York to pursue modelling and has assembled quite the hit list of the city's hotspots. Click through the gallery above for the stunner's current obsessions.
