P.E Nation's Pip Edwards shares her Florence photo diary from her recent Pitti Uomo trip

Last week, as part of Pitti Uomo's Guest Nation Australia, eight Aussie designers were invited to showcase their menswear collections at the esteemed trade show that precedes Milan Men's Fashion Week each year. Descending onto the cobblestone streets of Florence, designers Chris Ran Lin, Commas, Double Rainbouu, Ex Infinitas, P.E Nation, Sener Besim, Strateas.Carlucci and Ten Pieces presented their spring/summer collections to a host of industry movers and shakers. Arranged in partnership with Pitti Immagine, the Australian Fashion Chamber and The Woolmark Company", the eight local designers were given this simple design brief: to highlight the adaptability of Merino wool in their collection.

While the results were far ranging, owing to each designer's unique signature and creative impulse, we chose to follow Pip Edwards and Claire Tregoning of activewear label P.E. Nation as they took their debut menswear collection to the streets of Florence. Click through the gallery for an intimate look at Claire and Pip's time in the Italian city last week.
