In Hedi Slimane's nearly four year tenure at Saint Laurent, he's had a lot to be proud of. From the outset of his appointment in March 2012, Slimane has hardly been one to shy away from controversy or even criticism of the label's radical shift in direction. From the grungy, LA guitar-god influences, to the stark black and white campaign imagery shot by Slimane himself, the world of Saint Laurent under Hedi's direction was both commercially successful and intoxicatingly youth centric.
