Finally! A glimpse at the H&M collection we've all been waiting for
Uh oh - we're predicting at worldwide stampede at H&M once this collection hits stores in November. We've already had a glimpse at the campaign, starring Balmain Army beauties Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid, Jourdan Dunn and cool dudes Hao Yun Xiang and Dudley O'Shaughnessy, but up until now we've only had the campaign images to scrutinise.

Thankfully, the wait is over. H&M has just released the men's and women's lookbooks, and - drumroll please - it's got creative director Olivier Rousteing's masterful fingerprints stamped all over it. Featuring rich jewel tones, military-inspired details and tough gold hardware and leather accents, the line is unmistakeably and unabashedly Balmain. Stocked with fierce minidresses and sexy boots in fabrics like brocade, silk, suede and fur - the Balmain x H&M collection is exactly as Saturday-night worthy as you'd hoped for.
Rousteing clearly hasn't let the partnership with a mass market retailer stop him - the line is rich in details and bling-y as ever, styled as almost a best of Balmain party for your closet. While there's no word on the price point, don't expect that to dissuade the thousands of dedicated fashion folk itching to get their mitts on this gear. With guys getting a look in care of leather pants, blazers, military coats and leather jackets - the race will be on to score a piece of this landmark retail moment. If past H&M collaborations are anything to go by, we'll be seeing queues snaking out the door come B-day (that's Balmain day) on November 5.
