Photographer Tim Walker has shot an all-black cast of models and celebrities for the prestigious calendar’s 2018 edition

It appears it's that time of the year already. The 2018 Pirelli calendar shots are here and they're incredible. Taking on a wonderful reimagining of Alice in Wonderland, photographer Tim Walker, known for his theatrical, other-worldly and commonly fairy tale-themed style of fashion photography, has lensed one of the most beautiful editions we've seen in a while.

Starring only people of colour, this year's cast not only includes Australia's Next Top Model star Duckie Thot (!!), but also sees Naomi Campbell, RuPaul, Whoopi Goldberg, Adwoa Aboah, Lupita Nyong'o, King Owusu, Alpha Dia, Sasha Lane, Dijmon Hounsou and Mr Highest Paid Celebrity In the World, Sean "Diddy" Combs. It was styled by British Vogue's new editor-in-chief Edward Enninful.

The move sees it distance itself from the hyper-sexualised images of Pirelli's past even further than it did last year with Peter Lindbergh's 2017 edition starring Uma Thurman, Julianne Moore, Robin Wright and Nicole Kidman.
