Just wait until you see Bassike Denim's new spring 2016 collection. You're going to want Every. Single. Damn. Piece
Having cornered the market in soft, perfectly slouchy organic cotton tees and cool weekend separates; cult Sydney label Bassike is set to test your purse strings (again) with its new spring 2016 denim collection. Expanding the current range to 15 pieces that span all manner of cool-girl-and-guy essentials - from rigid fit denim jackets to slouchy and straight jeans - Bassike has really set the bar high for classic cut denim with this one.
This season sees the addition of new styles, including a mid-rise classic crop jean and a slim stretch jean in a tailored-pant style, which join current classics like the lo slung, universal II and super lo slung jeans. As with previous collections, Bassike denim comes in two distinct washes: the rigid 100 per cent cotton and the stretchy 97 percent cotton/3 per cent elastane version. And given that all the brand's denim is made in a small, bespoke denim village in Japan where traditional techniques are used, you can rest assured that no pair of Bassike jeans is the same.
