Updated: Ahead of next week's drop into stores, now you can see a sneak preview of the Alexa Chung's full collection for AG in the gallery below.
When Alexa Chung dropped her debut collection for denim brand AG, it sold out globally in a flash - and why wouldn't it? The range had all the makings of a hit: it was chic, it was designed by one of fashion's favourite denim enthusiasts and it hit the nail on the head of that '70s-denim trend everyone so desperately wanted to tap into.
Now, Chung is about to release A/W '15, a range that has evolved from the denim-focused collection she debuted, into an assortment of separates for all-hour wear: sophisticated, effortless, cool, and characteristically It-girl-y - think A-line skirts, high-rise jeans, whimsical silk blouses and button downs, and straight and skinny denim fits.

"The first collection was very focused and stripped-back. I challenged myself to create an essential denim wardrobe," says Chung. With the second collection it was more about exploring where else we could take it." Chung injected a swag of rich textures, like suede, corduroy, merino wool and cashmere, to the mix, along with weekend-y denim, twill and chambray. "This is truly a proper ready-to-wear collection," says AG President Sam Ku. "The collection is elevated, yet still accessible, and is quintessential Alexa, while embodying the AG brand."
Alexa Chung for AG A/W '15 collection launches July 23 and is available at David Jones, selected boutiques and on stylebop.com. Prices range from $199 to $2,049.
