One to watch: announce three emerging fashion designers for season two of ‘The Innovators’

There is a satisfying smugness that comes with knowing a fashion designer and owning their designs before any of your friends or colleagues. The same satisfaction can be likened to knowing a band or musician before their big break; a sense of 'in-the-know' that puts you a step above the rest. If this sounds like you, write down the following names: Charles Jeffery, Eckhaus Latta and Horror Vacui because you're about to see these emerging labels everywhere. The three designers form season two of's 'The Innovators' series that supports up-and-coming designers who are successfully breaking fashion's everrchanging boundaries.

For S/S '18, each brand has created an exclusive collection that will launch on today. "The Innovators embrace the best in emerging talent," said Natalie Kingham, Buying Director of "[W]hether it is a menswear designer Charles Jeffery, whose styles have been translated into womenswear; Eckhaus Latta, who uses deadstock textiles to create their androgynous designs; or Horror Vacui, a designer who was never formally trained, uses liberty prints to create her vintage inspired collection."

Charles Jeffery:

Traditionally a menswear designer, the Scottish designer has reworked some of Kingham's favourite designs from his men's collections for women. The result: androgynous asymmetrical pieces in bold patterns that are distinctly feminine with a masculine edge.

Eckhaus Latta:

Mike Eckhaus and Zoe Latta are an exciting duo to watch - and you can do just that at NYFW, with Eckhaus Latta appearing on the schedule. The pair used repurposed materials to make up the eight piece collection that consists of modern pastel shades and acid wash denim.

Horror Vacui:

Designed by Anna Heinrichs, the ten piece collection is the epitome of vintage feminine. The collection is a modern take on period-style smock dresses and night gowns: think peter pan collars and all the frills!

All three collections will be available on from February 7, 2018.
