It's not often you find two companies whose design values work hand in hand, but every now and then, a collaboration between two brands comes along that just makes sense. One is a cult Kiwi label adored for its distinct accessories the world over; the other is a fiercely loved brand as English as tea and scones.

We're referring, of course, to the recent collaboration between Karen Walker Eyewear and Liberty London. "I'm a print obsessive so working with Liberty on this project was like being a kid in a candy store," says Walker of the collaboration. It was especially poignant because of Walker's memories associated with the brand. "This... is a seminal moment for me; the first item of clothing I ever made and sold was a men's Liberty print shirt," explains  the designer.

In a move that speaks volumes about her most iconic sunglass shapes, Walker has chosen just three of her most popular styles to undergo a Liberty makeover - Super Duper Strength, Harvest and Number One.

Available in three different colourways, each set of frames features Liberty's famous pretty floral Pereira print and comes with a matching leather pouch. We probably don't need to remind you of the limited edition nature of the collection -and if this goes anything like Karen Walker's first collaboration with handbag label Benah - it will sell out.

The Karen Walker Eyewear x Liberty collection is priced from NZD$346.96 a pair and is available exclusively through Liberty's website  and in Karen Walker stores and online.
