Always a sucker for anything Dior? You'll be delighted to meet their new collection, dropping just in time for heavy handed Christmas hints

Raf Simons' mournful decision to depart Dior might have broken more than a few hearts, but that's not to say we can't enjoy some of the designer's last pieces of legacy on the French powerhouse brand. Case in point: the Paradise collection, a selection of favourite and set-to-be classic accessories taken from the Dior cruise collection (remember the one hosted at the striking Palais Bulles?).

You'll probably recognise key pieces - the Diorama, Lady Dior and Bubble bags and the Diorissimo Voyageur wallet, but we're especially coveting the way the creative way they've been rendered in the Paradise collection. Featuring cheerfully coloured flowers, inscriptions of words like 'Paradise and 'Power' and - our personal favourite - some very cool skateboard-inspired badges, the leather goods' makeover reveals a summery side to their usual utilitarian beauty.

And of course, as an update to last summer's shades du jour Diortechnologic, Paradise also features some must-have acetate and metal graphic sunnies from the Cruise collection, a beautiful white silk scarf, cute keyring (or bag charm?) and four pairs of Dior Shades earrings. Modern and geometric-shaped, each stunning pair of earrings come with a palladium or gold finish, with some featuring black marble or red glass and howlite stone. With Simons taking his final bow at Dior for spring/summer '16 Cruise is literally the second last collection with the former creative director's modernist stamp on it. You've been warned.
